The minimum wage increase has pased. Its the first increase in 10 years. It now stands at $5.85 per hour. That is $234 per 40 hour work week. That is $936.00 per month. That is $11,232 per year. Pathetic.

But if you are homeless or in a shelter you CAN do better than $5.85 an hour. Unions will hire you to protest for them for $8.00 per hour. That's right they outsource protesters, at least they are not marching in India.
