It started raining in NYC Friday afternoon. It hasn't stopped since, six days of rain and clouds. I don't know how people in the Northwest of the US, England and Germany et. al survive.

We only had two weeks of August left and it has rained for one full week. Depressing.

I suppose that's alright anyway. Fall in the Northeast is as glorious a thing as there is on Earth.

The dry, sunny days, crisp air. The smells of tailgating and football. The new theater season on Broadway, the sense of renewed life and energy in the city as everyone returns from their Summer haunts.

Walks in Central Park as the leaves change, the fruits and vegetables of the Greenmarkets.

Its just spectacular here in September and October.

What is Autumn like where you live?
