The Internet is undergoing an incredible change. What was once a static repository of information transformed itself into and active engine of commerce.

Now it has reached a third stage in its development. The age of "MY INTERNET" has arrived. Where once we were amazed and satisfied that we could browse and read billions of pages of information on every subject and buy what we wanted from millions of online retailers, the Internet is now developing into a full fledged outlet of creative cross communications.

No longer are we only consuming the information that media outlets, retailers, universities and corporations feed us, no we are the ones creating the content now.

No matter where you look on the Internet, you will see that the most popular, most trafficked and most useful and entertaining sites are sites where the content is largely created by the users.

The business models are changing rapidly for net players. They are providing the infrastructure and tools and we are creating the content and growing the Internet from the bottom up instead of the bottom down. It all happened while we weren't looking.

Below I am providing some of the best of the Web's new breed of "MY INTERNET" type sites. Some of them you may be already be using, others may be new and amazing to you. Enjoy.
