So, the latest in the Grand Theft Auto video game series has been pulled from the shelves of major retailers like Target and Wal-Mart. Why? The very violent game was recently discovered to have a hidden hack inside the game.

Once applied the hack uncovers hidden nudity and sex scenes within the game. The "family values" set was outraged!!!! Outraged!!! They mobilized, wrote letters, made phone calls, threatened boycotts. Congressmen intervened. It was yet another sign the apocalypse is upon us.

Oh the irony. Oh the hypocrisy, oh the cliched American puritanism. A game where the object is to rob, kill, shoot, screw and beat your way to success only gets pulled when sex steps in. How many parallels of this do we have in our society? TV, movies, radio. Artists, filmmakers, radio hosts, TV show producers, only seem to get the third degree when it comes to sex. Remember Janet Jackson? Remember the Terrell Owens - Desperate housewives intro to Monday night football?

Oh the horror and shame of knowing they have topless weathergirls in Italy and Bananna Sex shows in Holland and neither society has collapsed.

So come on America, get over it. Say it once, say it loud, I'm a sexual animal and damn I'm proud.
