May 1, 2005
Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, I'm free at last. I arrived in Hong Kong today and for the first time in a month I can see my blog, see other blogs and post to mine on my own.
A million thank yous again to Mr. Teacher for being my lifeline.
I just came back from a walk around Central on HK Island. It's the May 1 holiday in China and there were parties, dancers, singers and about 250,000 Filipino women who work here as domestics lining the streets in groups of 3, 6, 12. They only get Sundays off and they all hit the streets in a day and night long social gathering.
Exhaustion has officially set in.

Hong Kong
9 cities 9 hotels, one boat, 6 flights, two buses, two trains, a hundred taxis, several subways and 1 month. I am bone tired. My clothes, which have been washed 3 times on this trip, smell. My luggage weighs a ton (this after shipping 4 boxes of stuff home already) and I'm pretty much worn out. I had some meetings today but I am now free for two days in Hong Kong. I will do some sightseeing and shopping and then on Wed the nightmarish 23 hour trip home.
What a long strange trip its been.
More tomorrow.
